Visual or Performing Arts Scholarship
Application 2010
This $150 scholarship is awarded directly to a student who meets the following requirements:
- The applicant is
a resident of Henry County and 2010 HS graduate.
- The applicant is enrolled in an accredited college or university
in a visual or performing arts program.
- Applicants must have experience in visual or performing arts, including community
involvement.
- The applicant must include the following information when submitting the application:
- Resume
- Transcript of grades
- Two letters of recommendation (one from a teacher and one from a community member)
- List of participation in visual or performing arts activities, extra-curricular activities, and community involvement
- One-page typed (12 point font) essay explaining "How Art Has Impacted My Life"
- If
requested, the applicant must be willing to be interviewed.
- Applications must be submitted by Monday, May 3,
2010.
